Forum Marketing - The Only Method You Need To Make Great Money Online

In this article you are going to learn why I sincerely believe that Forum Marketing is the only method you need to make good money online. While you can use other methods to support it, you should be wary of becoming a "jack of all trades and a master of none." If you want the paycheck of a true master, then you must become one, and I am going to share with you three points on why Forum Marketing should be your first choice when you decide that you really want to earn real money online. If you really think about these three reasons, you will agree with me.
Are you ready? Here are the three reasons:
Reason #1: Quick Money
Making money online can be difficult, painstaking work that takes a long time to pay off. However, there are some very quick ways to make money through Forum Marketing. I made my first sale on my first day, after making only four posts with affiliate promotional links in them. A lot of other people have had similar results. Of course the money is not steady, you need to build a list and a real business if you want steady money. But if you need to make money very quickly, for example within a week, forums are absolutely the way to go.
Reason #2: Long Term Money
Even more important for me is that forums are among the best ways to make good, long-term money. Many so-called experts say that forums have been around almost as long as the Internet, and they are dead wrong. Forum Marketing and Article Marketing have been around for thousands and thousands of years before electricity, and even more so computers and the Internet. The concept of people getting together to talk about things they have in common is truly ancient, and clever marketers have always taken advantage of these groups to promote their agenda and their products or services. What is so powerful about Forum Marketing on the Internet is that for the first time you can simultaneously be involved in literally dozens of forums as the same time, getting your message out to more people than ever before in history.
Reason #3: Multiple Paths to Money
Of course another wonderful reason for marketing in forums, just as in the offline world, is that there are tons of ways to make money. Many people start by selling affiliate products, while others develop their own products or strive to drive traffic to various other money making tools. Personally, I most prefer to use them to drive traffic to my list and sell them my own products, but there are many times when the opportunity to promote an affiliate product opens up, and of course I am in position to take advantage of that as well. Finally, perhaps the most profitable way to make money from forums is to run your own! In addition to having complete control over the forum, you can actually sell the advertising space for steady profit as well.

Cheap Business Web Hosting - Find Web Hosting for Less

Cheap business web hosting is easy to find these days..if you know where to look. Technology has enabled hundreds of reputable, cheap business web hosting companies to provide their services for all sizes and types of businesses. Unfortunately, many hosting companies come and go without earning a single dime in profit. This article will help you identify reputable, discount web hosts that will provide the best cheap business web hosting services for every dollar your business plans to spend on website hosting.
Do A WhoIs Lookup
A fast and reliable way to look up any cheap business web hosting company is to find their main web address and perform a WhoIs Lookup on it. A WhoIs Lookup gives you all of the details of a specific web address at the click of a button. Important information like the date of creation for a website and the expiration date for the web address can be found by doing a simple WhoIs Lookup. A WhoIs search is absolutely free to do. You can find a number of websites that offer WhoIs lookup services by typing the phrase "whois" into your favorite Internet search engine. The search should take less than a few seconds to complete and will display the information to you when the search is done. Look for things that you believe make a reputable hosting company, such as the length of time since they first created their website or even the company address and state in which they do business. Doing your research on possible cheap web hosting services will pay off in the long run.
Cheap Pricing Plans
If you're looking for a cheap web hosting service that's capable of hosting your small business website, odds are you can find a very solid hosting company for a pretty cheap price. The monthly and yearly prices for business website hosting services have come down considerably in recent years. At the time of writing this article, there are at least three reputable, established website hosting companies that offer their hosting services for less than five dollars per month if you purchase at least a years-worth of their hosting service in advance. If you're the month-to-month type of small business, you should be able to find a good web hosting plan for less than fifteen dollars per month. Basically, if you're looking at a potential hosting company and they're trying to charge you more than fifteen dollars per month for their hosting services, then pack up your bags and move on. There are better web hosting pastures out there.
Compare Hosting Service Reviews
There are a number of popular websites out there that offer free reviews of the best and most popular business services that can be found online. Some of these websites offer ratings specifically for small business services that are available online. These review websites would be a great place to start if you're looking to find reputable business web hosting reviews for free. Most of the ratings and reviews are fairly recent and add an extra layer of protection for business owners who are unsure of what services are currently available and which services are the best for their type of business. If you end up choosing a hosting company off of one of these websites, you can sleep easy at night knowing you made a good and healthy decision for your business.

The Basics of Domain Name Flipping for Profit

The URL of any website is called its Domain Name. Flipping is the art of buying something cheaply and then selling it quickly for a profit. Buy it and flip it - simple! The difficult part is figuring out how to pick a domain name among the millions of available names. Here are the three biggest factors in picking a Domain Name to flip: Demand for the name, the Extension, and Pricing.
Desire for a specific Domain Name is crucial. The best names have keywords in them that people are looking for. This is why Domains like Buy.com, pets.com, bestbuy.com, and shoes.com are worth so much. These Domains are short and describe exactly what you are getting from their domain. Of course, it looks like all the good Domain Names have already been taken. Wrong! New domains are being registered every day.
What you need to do is figure out what topics or keywords people are searching for and integrate those words into your domain name. So, when your Domain has a keyword in it that people are searching for, it makes sense that people will naturally be attracted to that url. Google Trends and Google Keyword Tool are free and can help you figure out what the latest hot topics are. You can look through your own search history and see what YOU have been searching for. If you searched for it, chances are that others are making the same searches too.
Once you have about ten keywords or topics that you think might make a good domain name, now is when we search to see if the domain is already taken, and if so, what we can do about it. For example, I just went to bluehost - you can use your favorite registration company of course - and looked up murphybed, because I want to start a site on murphy beds. Murphybed.com is taken. Bluehost - and many other registrars make suggestions for alternate names - so bluehost suggested a bunch of different names with murphybed in them such as: murphybeddesign, HotMurphyBed, AllMurphyBed, MurphyBedGroup, topmurphybed and so on. The list of names can get large and complicated fast, so I like to put them in a spreadsheet, along with my rating of the name, the domain extension, and cost.
In addition to the Domain Name itself, the extension of the Domain is critical. I know a lot of people who won't purchase anything that doesn't have a.com extension, but there are many extensions available, including.net,.info,.org,.biz, and so on. There are no restrictions on those extensions, so you can use a.org even if you aren't an organization. I like to stick with the top 3 -.com,.net, and.org. The best one is.com.
The pricing of a domain for sale is variable and completely up to the seller. Typically the.coms have a higher value, but any website that has an easy to read domain name, with a major extension can get traffic, and therefore have value.
So now that you have a domain name registered, it's time to make some money on it! Put it up for auction on a site like eBay.com. I looked today and there were 71 pages of domain names for sale. Another option would be a specialty auction site like sedo.com which bills itself as the World's Largest Domain Marketplace. Put your Domains up for sale and keep track of what sells and how much it sells for. You will find that there are some keyword modifiers that you can add to most any topic that makes it worth a lot more.
Give it a shot and let me know how it goes!

Forum Marketing - The Case Against SEO

The reason that most people believe in SEO is that they can easily understand it. Most people have at some point used a search engine to find something they wanted, and probably clicked on the listings on the first page. So it is only natural for them to believe that if they work to get their own site on the front page of the popular search engines, people will click on their websites as well. Those who have been involved with Internet Marketing realize they can make some money off of this tendency by selling "How To" information on search engine optimization, as well as services and software that help with the process. The result is that a lot of people work very hard to make a small amount of money. We are going to discuss a few of the problems with SEO in this article.
Are you ready? Here we go:
Reason #1: SEO is absolutely NOT free!
Many people think they are getting targeted traffic to their websites for free, meaning that people who are actually interested in what their website is about will go to their website and it will cost them nothing. This is simply not true. In order to get listed in the first page of Google, for example, you either have to put in a lot of time-consuming work, or you have to pay someone else to do work for you. Most people value their time, and I certainly do as well. The outcome of SEO is that you make less than minimum wage in most cases, and often do not get the results you thought you would have. In using Internet forums to market, however, I can interact with customers and clients in a way that still takes my time, but is extremely profitable.
Reason #2: SEO is NOT targeted traffic!
Sure, people search according to keywords, and that is the best that computers can do. But human beings don't think in keywords, they think in ideas and concepts. As a matter of fact, most of the time when I search for something in the major search engines, I have to go through quite a few links and websites before I finally find what I am looking for. So far, no search engine has ever purchased anything from me. Only real, living people buy from me. That is why I spend my time in the forums, where I can find people who are really looking for the kind of information that I offer.
Reason #3: SEO has terrible conversion rates!
Now, there may be some rare exceptions, for example when you are selling a non-competitive physical product, or if you are advertising a local business or service. For the most part, however, especially if you are selling Information, people who are looking for things online want what they are seeking for free. Now I don't know about you, but I am not in the business of giving away things for free! Sure, you might give away something for building your opt-in list, and I do that too... But everyone who signs-up understands that I am going to try to sell them something later.
Now THAT is targeted traffic! As an obsessive tester, however, I have found that even when my sites reached the top four results in Google for my keywords and were bringing me some traffic, it had very low conversions compared to better forms of traffic. Because I get to know people in forums so well, however, it is a simple matter to obtain very high conversion rates.
Forum Marketing, when done correctly, is far superior to SEO in every way, and it takes less time.

How to Choose a Domain Name for Your Website: 5 Important Tips

If you're in business today, you have a website. In fact, there's an excellent chance you have multiple websites, or at least multiple domain names pointing to your website. Choosing those domain names must be done with care.

You can use different domain names as tracking devices to test your various advertising and promotion campaigns. The different names might point to the same site but they let you see where the traffic is coming from. Or you might set up sites for special campaigns or specific products, and those sites will need their own names. You might also want to own (whether you use or not) domain names that are variations of your company's name to prevent competitors or detractors from using them.

Use these tips to choose domain names that are effective and will work for you:

• Use simple words that are easy to remember and spell. Don't make people have to work too hard to find your website, because they won't.

• Keep it short. The longer the name, the greater the risk of a mistake when it's typed into a browser. Shorter URLs are easier to write when you are filling out a form by hand (that still happens!). They're also easier to remember. And there's less chance of a shorter URL breaking across a line in text when it's published in a newspaper or magazine article.

• Make it something that's easy to say out loud. Even if you expect that most of your traffic will be coming from links, you still should be able to say, "Visit our website at 'our company dot com' to sign up for our newsletter," and be clearly understood the first time.

• Avoid hyphens and underscores. First, these make it awkward to say the domain name out loud; second, they increase the chances people will make a mistake when typing the URL.

• Be cautious when using numbers. You don't have to exclude numbers from your domain name, but consider that they can cause confusion. For example, if your domain name is CompanyOne.com and you are saying it, listeners may not know if they should type "companyone.com" or "company1.com".

Once you choose your primary domain name and secure it with one extension, consider purchasing that name with other extensions. For example, if you have the.com version, you may also want to get the .org, .cc, .biz, .mobi, and others, and have those URLs point to your primary website.

Finally, consider what common typos or misspellings people are likely to use when trying to get to your site, purchase those domains and point them to your primary site.

Want To Become A Domain Trader? Think Again

Back in 1996/7 when I started building websites and buying domain names, the Internet was only just starting to take off. Then, you had loads of high quality domain name available and.com was the only sensible ending to a domain name.

At that time, I admit, I did not realize the opportunity in owning and reselling domains. I bought some good domains and played around with them for my own web designs but never had any real intentions on monetizing those sites or reselling the domains. When it came to renewing those domains I had lost interest in them and did not renew them. All of those domains are today used by big corporations for their websites. The following years saw the rise if the domain trading industry and domains selling for as much as several million dollars in some cases.

The current state of domain trading
Today, the domain trading industry has changed and slowed down. The reasons are many:

• Lack of good.com domains.
• More variety in domain name endings, for example.biz,.co,.me,.info & more.
• The arrival (and dominance) of Google search and social media.

In my opinion the main factor above is the arrival of Google that has revolutionized how people use search engines and find the content they are looking for. In the past users used to simply type in the name of the brand or the product they were looking for and add.com to the ending. That would give them the main site related to that product, brand or topic.

Today we barely look at web addresses. We simply ask Google and check out some of the page 1 results that Google provides us with. If we like it we either memorize the address or bookmark it in our browsers or via social bookmarking services such as Delicious. Because of this the domain name or the domain name ending does not play as much role as it used to for online marketers and thus lowering the importance of having that perfect domain name for your business.

What will the future bring for domain traders?
Things are not looking very good for domain traders these days. Increased role of social media is bringing in even more ways for people to discover things online and the major search engines are always working on ways to improve their algorithms to serve up just the right results for each search query.

If you are thinking about a career change then you might want to put the professional domain trader idea on ice for a while (at least). Sure, every now and then we will hear about domains (new and old) being sold for ridiculous amounts of money but those will be few and far between. This evolution is a good thing for sure as it puts the focus on quality content rather than just a domain name with the right words. This just underlines the fact that online - content is king.

ColdFusion Web Hosting For Businesses

ColdFusion web hosting is a more complex affair than are most other types of web hosting. Because of the system, which is reliant on databases and other technologies to be functional, you have to take into account the technical demands of your business in ways that you may not have to with other types of websites. These complexities, however, are largely what provide the tremendous functionality of the ColdFusion system and what provide your business with effective ways to reach out to your clients and potential clients on the web.

Builders

Sometimes, ColdFusion web hosting is best obtained from the builders of your website. Because they are building the website to begin with, they will know exactly what you need in terms of hosting and, most of the time, they will have a good idea of how much traffic you can expect at your site based upon your past web hosting arrangement. Website builders are also very good at making certain that security on your site is set up correctly. Giving them access to your servers and having them set them up helps you to ensure that they are set up correctly and that you don't have to worry about any errors causing holes in your security that will come back to bite you in the future.

Growth

ColdFusion web hosting also has to be able to accommodate the growth your business will undergo the future. ColdFusion sites are quite frequently used by businesses that need to have catalogs and other complex features on their websites. Websites that are this complex, of course, generally belong to businesses that don't plan on operating on the same scale or staying at the same size for very long. If your web hosting has growth built into it, you don't have to worry about making expensive transfers in the near future when your website takes off.

Uptime

The vast majority of ColdFusion web hosting companies can offer over 99% uptime. Uptime is simply a way of saying how much of the time your server will be available. If they cannot offer this level of availability, you may want to consider going with a different company. When your website goes down, your web builder can provide you with ways to accommodate the situation. In some cases, big web hosts have failover servers available, which ensure that your site remains online, even if your primary server machinery goes off-line.

Finding good ColdFusion web hosting can keep costs down, as well. By going with a company that understands how to provide you with exactly the tools you need for your business, you can be certain that you are not paying too much and that you won't end up with hosting that cannot accommodate the size of your business. Finding this happy medium is something that a consulting can help you to do and it can make things a lot easier on your business as you begin utilizing the tremendous power of ColdFusion websites to grow your business and reach your clientele.

Success in the World of Forums Begins With Proper Formatting

Nothing is more frustrating than trying to decipher a forum post which has no paragraph formatting or capitalization and the words just run on and on. Even a forum post with as few as 100 words becomes a challenge to read when it is not properly formatted. If others must use their cursor to 'follow' the text in order to determine what you are trying to say, there is a good chance that the message will be ignored.

While this is a common complaint of many moderators who get paid to read every post and decipher the message, the greater concern deals with the other forum members. What will they think when they see a message that is difficult to read? Will they understand the content? Will they even bother to read it?

Although text messaging has its own unique formatting, this style does not apply in the world of forums where clarity is vital if you want your question answered or want to post an answer to someone else's question.

Remember, most community forum members are volunteers and are not required to read every message; they have the option to pick and choose what they wish to reply to. Following the guidelines below will make it that much easier for others to understand your message.

Use capital letters when beginning a new message as well as the first letter of every new sentence. Also, follow the rules for capitalization which includes capitalizing all proper nouns; i.e. a person's name, a product or service name, or a city or state, to name a few. (Incidentally, the use of all capital letters when communicating via internet is considered to be shouting and should be avoided.)
Although some abbreviations may be acceptable, it is advisable to avoid 'texting' abbreviations in most cases. They should never be interjected into the middle of a sentence such as 4 in place of the word for.
Use the default font size and color for the majority of your content. Posts comprised of huge font sizes and wild colors make reading difficult and may lessen the credibility of your message.
Insert a space between sentences.
Start a new paragraph when expressing a new point or thought.
Use the spell checking feature to correct any mistakes and always proofread your message before posting. Does it address the topic at hand? Is your content clear and concise?

Your goal in posting to a support forum is to get help with a problem or to provide advice to someone else. Proper formatting will not only ensure readability, but will also provide for a more successful forum experience.

Fast As Well As Short Suggestions About A Website Name Search For A Video Marketing Business

Would you rather go the cheaper (normally) route of getting an unregistered website address and build it up yourself?

That is simply the very first of many queries you must ask yourself. I will break it down a bit so you have a much better idea of which option is the very best one for you and your business online.

First things first, take into consideration just what your financial budget is for your website address. A new, unregistered domain name is around $10 annually. You can save on that price in case you register it for several years and/or you buy multiple domain name at a time. If you buy in bulk you could generally get a per domain price of around $5 or $6 dollars, maybe much less.

In case this is the way you want to go then you have to find a listing of key phrases that are directly relevant to the topic of your business enterprise. For example, if you are starting a niche site on the subject of bird baths you have to do some keyphrase research so you can make a good big list of highly searched search phrases associated with bird baths.

Once you have this listing, you could visit the domain address registrar online and discover which online sites are readily available There are many web address registrars out there such as GoDaddy.com, DomainCheapsters.com or NameCheap.com to mention just a few.

Try and obtain a.com extension whenever possible but in case you have a really great keyword that obtains lots of searches every month, going with a.net should work out very well for you too.

In addition, try and obtain a domain address that just has the search term in it and if possible, no other words. Though, again, if the search phrase you're targeting is quite common you must not pass it up. So in case all you are able to get is a domain address with something like the term 'best' or 'easy' and so on, before or after the search phrase, you must probably go for it.

In case you are searching for an expired domain name that presently has a high page rank and lots of search traffic every month you must visit an online domain auction site. There are plenty of them around and many of the domain registrar businesses will sell off expired domain names.

Be sure you know what you will get should you follow this path. Most of the time you are just getting the website address and not the actual online site. Also, carefully consider the amount of traffic the site is currently getting and try to estimate what your monthly revenue will be for that website, so you don't spend too much.

As you can tell, there are several options with regards to your domain name search for your video marketing enterprise. To a degree the option you select would depend on what your budget is. Spending some time to carefully look into all your options before you make an acquisition is a very sensible idea.

Video Marketing is actually a scheme which facilitates and encourages people to pass along marketing video clips about services and products available. This could be successfully done by using Social Media Marketing, a great method that provides links, attention as well as huge numbers of page views by advertising your website or organization through social media channels.

Best Web Hosting Services For WordPress Blogging Website

So you are starting a brand new blog and you want to find the best web hosting service for your website. What are some factors to look out for before jumping in and signing up for a hosting account? This article provides a useful checklist.

Factor 1: Up-time reliability. We place this at the top of the check list because this is of utmost importance. You don't want to sign up for an account that goes down all the time. When web visitors cannot access your WordPress blog, they get frustrated and may never return again. In addition, search engines make perceive your site as "slow loading" and this may affect your search engine rankings. So make sure you visit hosting review sites and check the up-time reliability index of each hosting company before signing up. If there is no reliable index available, just take a look at the number of positive (or negative) comments. If a hosting company is reliable, they usually receive many positive reviews.

Factor 2: Fast loading servers. This is another factor that affects your search engine rankings. The search engines are getting more and more particular about user experience. In other words, they want to index sites that are of high quality - i.e. sites that load fast and contain unique and useful content. You can usually test the speed of the servers by accessing some existing sites that are hosted with the Company. Alternatively, check out user reviews to see what customers are saying about them. Sometimes, servers are so over-loaded with sites that the bandwidth doesn't even matter. The sites load slowly because hundreds of sites are using up the server's resources. So make sure you do your research properly. Good hosting companies do not oversell their shared hosting.

Factor 3: Linux or Windows? When it comes to hosting WordPress sites, there is always the consideration to go for Windows or Linux servers. Both support PHP, which is the language that WordPress was written in. However, bear in mind that WordPress was originally developed for the Linux platform. Windows later added support for PHP and that is when WordPress started being able to run on a Windows based server. For this reason, we recommend Linux for WordPress because there is less chance of running into technical problems on a Linux based server. For instance, you can't enable permalinks on a Windows server, which is useful for SEO purposes.

Factor 4: Price of hosting. The price is affected by the plan that you choose. So which plan is best suited for a WordPress blog? We recommend a shared account because it is affordable, and a shared plan is enough for a single WordPress blog. You do not need a VPS account or a dedicated server. A shared plan rarely cost more than $10 a month. And if you use a discount coupon, you enjoy great savings off your first invoice!

Wordpress blog can be hosted with all Linux hosting plans that come with MySQL database. We recommend HostClear cPanel web hosting. Hostclear reviews and coupons are at Hostclearreview.org - This website has the latest Hostclear user reviews. Hundreds of HostClear reviews can be found here.

Should You Choose Offshore Hosting Service?

Using regular USA hosting is good in most cases, but there are situations where not using offshore hosting company for your website is bad for you as a webmaster. These situations are usually when your content is questionable by the laws of various big countries like USA.

The Internet laws of the United States are good for protecting copyright holders in almost all areas from photography to software development and even smaller things such as user-written text on forums. Everything that you place on the web is automatically copyrighted to you and nobody else can re-use it without written permission from you. If someone does your material (music, pictures, text content) without your acknowledgement - you can easily file a DMCA complaint and if they don't respond and remove the content in question - you can file a lawsuit to your state attorney.

Big software, entertainment and media corporations like ABC, CNN, Discovery or Paramount Pictures have a team of lawyers working specifically for the purpose of protecting their copyrighted material (TV shows, movies, music or original interviews).

Since all the TV shows are copyrighted, media owners and TV networks in the USA offer licenses to local television channels in third-party countries (such as, in Europe or Asia). These licenses cost a lot of money, so the local TV networks also work hard to keep their entertainment portfolio from being delivered to the visitors of the corresponding country they target to illegally (e.g. for free through an internet website). But building a similar website is a profitable business. Webmasters keep registering domains from anonymous registrars and use offshore web hosting to build new websites with the intent of placing advertisements and earnings revenue. Of course, they want to be completely protected and anonymous from big corporations and their lawyers mentioned above.

This is where offshore hosting providers come in play. Purchasing USA-based hosting for a website which is not legal to be run in the United States is not a wise thing to do. That's why webmasters from the USA or other countries buy offshore hosting for their newly built websites. These hosting companies offer various anonymous payment options such as the Russian payment processor - Webmoney.

Running an online website business without using the proper protection methods like offshore hosting is impossible in the long run. That's why every successful webmaster should ask themselves before building their website - is it legally safe to run it in the country from which I am buying web hosting?

William Brown is in the offshore hosting business of running websites for over 6 years. In the last 2 years, he has focused his effort into helping people know what is offshore hosting.

What Are Cybersquatters and How To Deal With Them

The growth of internet traffic around the globe has increased business opportunities for people everywhere. Unfortunately, with every positive change, there's usually a negative one. In this case, the Internet has not only become a prime place for business to thrive, but it has also become a place where criminals can take advantage of people surfing the web - and do it all anonymously.

There are many kinds of cyber crimes, ranging from impersonation to basic spamming. However, when it comes to businesses, they must be always on the alert for one common threat that many fall prey to: Cybersquatting. Another name for it is "domain squatting." The short and long of it is that anonymous people are able to sell other domains for exorbitant prices. For example, when squatters occupy an empty house, that does not make it their house, therefore it would be illegal for them to rent it out to anybody or make any profit on the property. The same concept goes for domain names on the Internet. The Cybersquatters basically rent out something that does not belong to them, effectively pulling the wool over the customers' eyes and supplying him with something that he can never own.

Yet another name for this type of cyber crime is "typosquatting." Another method for getting their hands on a URL is to wait for someone to fail to re-register their website one year. Using software, the cybersquatter can then register the name, too, and sell it out. What makes this illegal is that you cannot rent out your own domain name. The other method that cybersquatters tend to use is something nicknamed, 'namejacking.' In this instance, the cybersquatter purchases someone's name as a domain, such as 'britneyspears.' They then can capitalize on all of the profits that are made as a result of all the searches on that domain. It is basically a form of impersonation. It is harder to catch online, however, because the criminals are always faceless.

Because of the constant threat of cybersquatting, it is obviously important for customers who shop online to be aware of how to protect themselves from being ripped off. One of the first things that are recommended by the Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (CANN) is to report it to the Uniform Domain Name Resolution Policy (UDRP). They deal specifically in domain disputes. However, the best way to get out of a cybersquatting problem is to avoid the problem in the first place.

First, check a domain name out before you purchase it. Do a quick search and see if it leads you to a suspicious website. Examples of this are "server under construction," "domain name for sale," etc. You may then want to contact the domain name registrant to see if they are legitimate. There are three main ways to fight a cybersquatter: pay for the domain name, regardless. You can sue under the ACPA, or use the international arbitration system set up by CANN. This strategy could get you your website back, but there are really no guarantees.

It's no fun to deal with cybersquatters, but the reality is that many people have to deal with them simply because they fail to renew their websites on time. Hopefully this article taught you a little something so that you don't end up falling victim to a cybersquatter. In the worst case scenario, you may have to hire a lawyer, and in the best case scenario, you'll get your website back without much work.

Find out more about cybersquatting domains and learn how to make money online with legitimate hard work.

E-Mail - The Significance of an E-Mailing System

Electronic mail usually abbreviated as e-mail, it is a protocol that is usually used for sending and receiving electronic mail through the internet. With the invention of the internet, e-mail services have become more and more popular. Its very convenience, reliability and efficiency and being a fairly cheap means of communication have resulted to a majority of the population preferring this mode of communication over other types of method.

Benefits of E-mail services to an organization

A hosted e-mail service is a crucial resource to any organization for efficient communication within the organization and also with its clients. Communication is a key pillar to the success of any organization therefore it is very important for an organization to have a reputable hosting company to provide these services for them. Using webmail has gained popularity over the years and is mostly used for organizational communication purposes. This service usually comes as an extra benefit and users are able to access their emails via the internet.

How e-mail services work

Typically, users are able to communicate through a protocol known as the simple mail protocol, as the standard protocol. There are different applications responsible for handling the co-ordination of the sending, receiving, storing and retrieval of mails, which were mandatory for configuration for accessing e-mail services a few years back.. In modern day, web access is facilitated by web access programs which are more efficient compared to the conventional application program method.

Companies that offer e-mail hosting services have to have large servers to accommodate conveying of the numerous messages being sent to avoid congestion in the communication channel. They also have to have strong security measures put in place because information is a very sensitive asset to an organization and can be used by malicious people to destroy the company and its name.

The Different types of e-mail hosting services

For smaller businesses, the basic suite is usually enough to cover their needs. With hosted email.

The Importance of Bandwith

I'd like to talk a little about the importance of choosing the right bandwidth for your website. I've personally made the mistake of buying too little bandwidth for a site. And let me just say, as an owner nothing is quite as depressing as having your website crash and not having any tech support because you skimped on the price of your hosting plan. In this particular case my site was down for almost three months. The worst part of it for me was the thought of the potential return customers that now wouldn't bother checking my site based on it's reliability. Frankly I can't blame anyone for that kind of decision. If I attempt to go to a website and find it unavailable I most likely never go back to that site. The only exception there is if the site makes some improvements or has a really great SEO strategy and I find them ranked high up in a search engine.

You've probably all heard how there really is no such thing as unlimited bandwidth. The fact is, that's very true. The internet is finite. No one can give you 100 percent assurance that your website will always be up and running. But, I have found that a company that offers unlimited bandwidth almost always offers you an assurance that 99.9 percent of the time your site will be operational. For an affiliate marketer or really anyone trying to make money with their site, that's an important number. None of us want to go to our website and see the dreaded blank page stating that we have exceeded our bandwidth. For me this was not only discouraging but depressing. I had put in all of this time and effort for nothing. And I had no one to blame but myself for choosing a service with limited bandwidth. My point is that regardless of our search engine optimization, our promotions, our marketing, or a great product or service; the success of our website is extremely dependent on bandwidth.

I had no idea, before beginning affiliate marketing, that companies have reseller hosting plans. They offer you, for a monthly fee, the ability to become your own web host using their servers and tech support. For an affiliate marketer these can offer a great advantage. With reseller hosting I can run an unlimited number of affiliate sites for a fraction of the cost I would have to start all of those sites individually. The drawback is the bandwidth. Considering that a top tier reseller hosting plan only offers about a 1400 GB bandwidth and that is going to be divided among all of sites. For me it has made it economical to get my websites off the ground but, once a site begins to have too much traffic and offering me trouble I've found it best to transfer that single site out to one of those "unlimited" bandwidth providers.

My name is Eric L. Ruth. I own an affiliate marketing website dedicated to web hosting http://www.marketrightsite.com/. At my website you will find what I believe to be valuable information for anyone who is thinking of starting their very own site. You will also find coupons from some of the webs leading web hosting companies. As well as links to help you promote and manage your online business. Today is the day! The economy is perfect for the success of an online business. With the right tools and the right state of mind, you could begin your journey today with us.

With Microsoft Direct Access, Who Needs VPN?

Do you ever need a file from the office computer, but you're on the train, at home or away from your desk? Wouldn't it be great to have immediate access to your data regardless of your location? This feature of Server 2008 R2, makes this possible. Using the Internet and the built in networking function in your Windows 7 PC, data can be retrieved quickly and easily.

What is Direct Access?

Direct Access on Microsoft's 2008 R2 server is a technology which uses the Internet to connect an end user system and servers to other network resources, be they inside or outside the corporate LAN.

In the past, in order for a remote computer to connect to the internal enterprise local area network, a VPN, or virtual private network was required. This too used the Internet as the link between server and client, but requires several things: client software installed on the workstation, end user initiation of the "dialer" to connect their PC to the company LAN, and IT installation and management of the VPN client software.

How is it Used?

Once configured, the remote user connects to the server with no user interaction besides turning on the PC and choosing the corporate network.

Once the employee connects to the Internet, they will be presented with all the servers and resources to which they have been granted permissions. This includes email, printers, and other computers.

For IT professional, there is no need to manage a VPN client as the solution operates from the machine level, meaning the computer will "know" what server is on their system. On their Windows 7 computer, will be a link to the company's network.

Additionally, the server can be used to publish group policies to your end users to help manage software and computer configurations.

For companies that have remote employees, mobile and telecommuting workers, this technology can ease the burden of IT needing to have the computer on site for software updates and management.

Not only do remote workstations and end users benefit, but other servers can connect to other resource servers running this feature. For instance, if a global company has an internal SharePoint document repository, remote servers located in regional offices can use the Internet to access remote data, and then present those files or resource to their local users, without the need to have the data stored on the local server. Again, all servers communicating will require Direct Access.

What is Required?

Besides the standards of Active Directory, a Domain Controller and DNS structure, the server must use R2 release of Windows 2008. Also, the server requires two internal network cards and two public IP addresses. Microsoft's web server, Internet Information Server is mandatory.

How is Security Handled?

As with other servers, you will configure authentication for end user and incoming connections. Other security services needed are PKI and IPSec. PKI certificates are issued to the clients to validate authenticity of the requester and the certificate over a public network, i.e. the Internet.

IPv6 is not required on the company LAN, but this technology can utilize the protocol. The IPv6 traffic will run across an IPv4 LAN and the Direct Server feature called ISATAP, "Intra-Site Automatic Tunnel Addressing Protocol" which handle this function when configured.

A routing protocol included is Name Resolution Policy Table or NRPT. This protocol creates a routing table on each DA client such that it will know how to handle traffic directed to the DA server versus other Internet traffic, like search engines and basic web browsing. If you are sitting in the airport or a café, DA server traffic will be transferred directly to it and other traffic will be routed accordingly.

The Benefits for You

Features of Windows 2008 R2 provide multiple benefits for IT management and end users. Whether your users are working at home, or sitting at the airport, an Internet connection with Direct access can easily link remote workers back to the company and server resources. Any data that is transferred in or out is secured using IPSec, certificates, encryption and user authentication. If you are considering using this solution, consult Microsoft's Deployment guide for a successful project and rollout.

Dedicated Hosting Plan's Price Tag Justified

There are many types of hosting plans that users can choose from when they are looking for one to host their website. Among the various types of hosting plans, dedicated hosting provides the most complete performance and features. This is so because it offers the most complete features as well as good technical support. Although it is the best performing plan that web hosts can provide, not many people can afford it. With its elaborate features and technical support, hosting companies tend to charge a higher price for it. As the price is rather steep, this plan is usually only used by big companies that have elaborate sites with heavy traffic.

The biggest advantage of using a dedicated hosting plan is that users will be able to have the whole server without having to share it with anyone else. Having the whole server means not needing to share its resources as well. Users will be able to enjoy all the ample disk space and bandwidth for its site. This is a great benefit as users will have to worry about very limited disk space and bandwidth if they were using free hosting plans or even shared hosting plans. As hosting companies usually provide more than enough resources with dedicated hosting plans, big companies usually use it to host their main site and perhaps their smaller subsidiary sites as well.

Furthermore, if you're going to be using a dedicated server, chances are that you will have a lot confidential information. To ensure that all the information is protected, you will need a hosting plan that provides excellent security. Among all the hosting types, dedicated server offers arguably the best security. Also, you will have less security issues to worry about as you will not be sharing the server with any other sites. There could be security issues or technical problems that could cause the site to crash if neighbouring sites encounters any virus, gets banned, or faces security breach.

Although this plan still costs more than the other plans, its price has become increasingly affordable due to competition to provide the best price. There are some plans out there that are priced at dedicated hosting plan's price although they only provide limited features and security measures. If you are already paying the same price, perhaps you should upgrade to a dedicated server where you will be able enjoy better performance and there will be no more need to upgrade your plan as your site grows more successful.

If you want a reliable web hosting, there is nobody else who can do a better job than this Joomla Hosting. Why? It is not only about their 99.9% uptime. They are much more than that. You should read more about the host.

Host Gator or Go Daddy

There are many other web hosts out there and they are all very competitive. The majority of them can be very expensive to say the least. They all seem to offer the same features but only a couple really seems to stand out. The two that do stand out are Host Gator and Go Daddy. In my experience, Host Gator is a lot better, cheaper and easier to use than Go Daddy.

Pricing

The pricing for Host Gator is great especially considering all of the features that you will receive. There are also many coupon codes out there that you can use to get discounts. They also offers different monthly plans as well as domain registration.

Features

Host Gator has an absolutely huge variety of features. It is truly incredible. Even with their smallest monthly plan, you get unlimited disk space and unlimited bandwidth. In terms of their packages, there are quite a few different ones and they all offer amazing features at great prices. Host Gator's web hosting also offers a free site builder and many free templates that you can use. The entire array of templates look professionally made and well designed.

WordPress Hosting

With Host Gator web hosting, you can easily install WordPress and 75 other open-source scripts with just a click. It is the best hosting option for WordPress and is extremely easy to use.

Website Optimization

Host Gator offers many ways to optimize your website for speed and Google page rank within their cPanel. With many of these options, you can do them with just a click and Host Gator will handle it from there. It is incredibly simple and very easy to use if you don't understand SEO or Google page rank.

Customer Service

Their customer service is top-notch and is available 24/7. They offer email, phone, and instant chat. I have used instant chat and it is probably the best option in terms of customer support. They have helped me with all of my problems that I have had in the past. They are very knowledgeable.

It is really difficult to explain what Host Gator is all about in an article. The best way to understand what they are all about and what they have to offer is by going to their website and by seeing them with your own eyes. They offer a whole lot more than what is mentioned above and it is all for amazing prices. They do offer a 45-day money back guarantee, so you won't be risking anything.

A Brief History Of The NU Top Level Domain Name

You may have seen the.nu domain name around - but do you know its origins? The extension.nu is the country code top-level domain (ccTLD) representing Niue, a tiny island nation located around 2,400 kilometers northeast of New Zealand.

Niue was first settled by Polynesians arriving from from Samoa, followed by people from Tonga in the 16th century.

Small in size and population,Niue consists of a land area of just 260 square kilometres and is home to around 1,800 people - one of the smallest countries in the world.

However tiny and remote the nation may be, the people of Nuie are well versed in technology and it was the first country to offer free wireless Internet services to all its inhabitants, which occurred in 2003. An estimated 84 percent of the population has Internet access at home.

Niue was also one of the first countries to offer its domain extension to international registrants, the proceeds of which helped to fund the wireless Internet for its residents, as well as a program providing free computers. It is the only ccTLD model that plows resources into keeping an entire country's Internet services free - although recent reports indicate the services provided may be becoming substandard.

It hasn't all been smooth sailing for the.nu registry. In 1997, a U.S. businessman applied to the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) and was granted the right to operate the.nu domain. When the extension became popular, the Niue government attempted to gain control of the.nu TLD, citing a number of reasons.

The.nu domain proved to be quite popular in Europe as nu in Swedish, Danish and Dutch means "now." However, in French, it can mean "naked" - and consequently very few.nu domain names are registered in that country.

The country's name means something quite different altogether in the native dialect. Loosely based on the Niuean language, it translates to "Look, there's a coconut," according to information from the Niue Internet Users Society.

The Society, which is the official registry for the name, says in order to attract registrants to the domain when launching it to the world, they kept the extension as short as possible, simply.nu; rather than under second level domains like com.nu, or.org.nu.

While popular with hobbyists, the .nu extension isn't often seen in connection with businesses outside of the countries mentioned above. For example, in Australia most local companies prefer to register .com.au or .com domains as their primary name due to their level of awareness among the Australian public.

Michael Bloch is an Australia-based online business consultant with many years of experience in the web hosting and domain name registration sector. Michael is currently consulting for Domain Registration Services.

Reduce the Risk of Getting Burnt When You Buy a Used URL By Doing Your Research Beforehand

Search engine visibility relies heavily on two key ingredients - your Website's Google PageRank and the power and applicability and of your Website's domain name or URL.

To promote a boost in Website traffic, some companies will purchase used URLs that had previously belonged to other companies. These companies are hoping to garner search engine traffic and branding benefits by purchasing these used URLs.

This might seem like a sure-fire, easy strategy for a company to gain more traffic, however there is substantial risk involved when choosing to buy a used URL. Purchasing a used URL is similar to buying a used car or truck - you take on any problems associated with the URL just as you do with a used car or truck. If you buy a used car or truck and a week later it needs a new alternator, it's your responsibility to pay to get it fixed. In comparison, if you purchased a used URL that has marks against it - or even worse it's been blacklisted by Google for violating its policies - those negative marks are now your problem.

The best way to avoid getting burnt by buying a used URL is to do your research in advance. Used URLs don't come with CarFax, but there are several free tools available for you to check out a URL's history and to keep you from purchasing a lemon. Some very basic research you should do include the following:

First check the WHOIS database. Here you can verify the registration history of the URL to see its original creation date. URLs that are several years old generally gain favor with Google.
Once you've checked the WHOIS database, you'll next want to verify if any of the URLs pages have been cached by Google. Verifying cache is a very simple procedure. Simply type in "cache:yourwebsite.com" into the Google search and hit return. If the search query returns no results, that could be a red flag that Google has blacklisted the URL you're looking to buy.
Lastly, you'll want to see what type of websites have backlinks to the URL. Make sure that any backlinks are related to the URLs content and purpose and aren't spammy or of adult content. To check backlinks to the URL, go back to Google and type in "link:yourwebsite.com" and run a search query. If the search returns less than ideal results and the URL has backlinks that look spammy or unrelated, you should probably avoid that used URL.

When it comes to used URLs, there isn't a guaranteed way to know if you're purchasing a dud, but you can decrease the likelihood getting burnt by doing your research before you buy.

Three Ways to Make Money By Selling Domain Names

Some of the domain speculators wouldn't bat an eye if they heard the words "selling domain names." This is because a lot of them consider domains to be of value. Do you know that you can still make money online with domains?

There are at least 3 methods you can use to make money with a domain name. Let us discuss each method in details...

1.) Domain Name Flipping

Domain name flipping involves the practice of buying domains and then reselling them for a profit. It is like real estate. An investor purchases a home or land and then turns around and sells it to someone else for a higher price. In this method, it's a domain that is bought and then sold. How do you flip a domain name?

It is not all that difficult but you should do your research well so as to avoid making losses. Remember your aim is to make a profit. The first thing to do is buy a name. Be sure to make a wise choice. The domain needs to be short, easy to remember and possibly contain a popular keyword phrase. If possible get a dot com however, you can settle for a dot net or dot org when the dot com is not available (already registered).

Now, you have to resell that domain. You can easily do this by using third party websites like Sedo, eBay or Flippa. You can create a listing for the domain and put your desired price. Those interested will be able to contact you with their offers.

Bidding sites can be of advantage or disadvantage to use when selling domains. They're advantageous in that you can sell at higher amount than the price you had paid for that domain hence making higher profit. The disadvantage is that you may be obligated to sell to the highest bidder, even if the final amount to you is very low.

2.) Using the Domain Name

Another technique for earning money with a domain name is to use it. With this method, you'll need to purchase web hosting. This service allows you to upload content, images, and videos to the internet so they're viewable to everyone.

When building your site, forgo trying to make it too pretty and instead create it to be easier to navigate its pages. Next, you'll want to find a money making opportunity to use with the website. Choose good site concept to monetize your domain name. For example Christmas shopping, wedding gifts, gifts for friends etc. Create content on the topic you choose and publish it on your site. Note that the content should of good quality. It should be of use to potential buyers or visitors who visit your site. Are you worried that you can't write? You shouldn't worry about your writing experience since you can simply hire a freelance writer to do this for you.

You can also choose to promote affiliate products, place AdSense around the content, sell your own products, or sell advertising space. Get these monetization methods up and running so you can get the money rolling in.

As mentioned before, your website must have good quality content. If you have it optimized for the search engines, this content will rank and bring you free traffic. To increase earnings, you can also rely on other marketing techniques such as article marketing and banner ad exchanges.

3.) Turnkey Website

If you decide to use your domain to create a website, you may find that the process isn't all that simple. It may be six months or longer before you start to see profits, and it takes a while to get everything set up. If you don't care to wait forever to make money, sell the site.

Register domains and create websites then sell them to earn profits. When you sell a domain name with a site attached, this is known as a turnkey website. It is ready for immediate use, can be used by the buyer to earn an income the moment it has been transferred to their hosting account.

Use a third party website if you plan to sell a turnkey site. These websites will help you sell turnkey sites as well as domains. When listing on these sites, you can easily find buyers for your sites. All you need to do is spend a few minutes creating the listing.

To conclude, like any other business, people have managed to make money by selling domains while others haven't.

Lay out the benefits and explain the overall agenda of your webinar along with the timing of the session. If needbe, add a few things like how the audience can relate to you. You need to find a way to amuse your attendees while they are waiting for the presentation to begin and looping in slides is a wonderful way to do that by delivering the critical information. These slides provide the attendees with information like the session start time, your name, title and photo, what the attendees can expect from the webinar and what they can do in case there are any snags. If you have a hankering, you can also incorporate some quotes from the topics you will be discussing in the webinar.} Use Pauses that Work: Whether you talk about good food and good music, both of these two things should go naturally well together. There will be a few changes in the pace, some little pauses and a few breaks. So, how will pauses benefit you? They give listeners enough time to think about what was discussed. This is why you should not have too many things to say all at once. If you talk without taking any breaks, you will probably lose the attention of your attendees. It's alright to talk quickly without being too slow. But whenever you need to say something that's profound in nature, or ask a question that requires some pondering, you should pause. The effectiveness of your webinar will be measured by the manner in which you talk to your attendees and keep the pace moving.

Review and Expect Questions: Making sure that your attendees are satisfied with the content that you gave them is important. A webinar is like a live presentation, as you should re-iterate all of the primary points that you have shared in the webinar, before you close. Confront your audience and see what kind of questions they have to ask so that you can take care of them there and then without really waiting for them to come up to you. Having a strong conclusion for your webinar is as important as having a good start. If you want your attendees to remember your webinar, then handle things properly when the time comes. These tips are easy to use, but if you ignore them, it will have a negative impact
on your webinar.
